Sabah Trip -- Day 3

A early morning wake this day... Why? For this:

Mount Kinabalu~~~

Our driver told us that we are lucky enough get to capture this pic as there are always fog and mist all around... Worth paying there!! ^^

Then, we headed off to cow's farm~~~~ ^^ Moooooooooooooooo................

1st Station: Desa Cattle Cow Farm, Kundasang
Does it looks like New Zealand?? hahaha..

RM 3.00 per person for entry. However, by using our student card, we manage to go in using RM2 (children's price... hahahaha) but we were too early, no milk pressing to watch T_T.... (if you're interested, 3-5pm will be the best time~~)

Dont forget to take pictures with the HUGE stones~~~
Sweet ladies~~~~ lalala~~~

By the way, there are FRESH MILK selling there.... Chocolate flavour, original, as well as goat's milk are available at affordable price.. yummy yummy~~~

2nd Station: Kundasang War Memorial Park
MyKad holders: RM2.00
Others: RM10.00

Have u ever heard of DEATH MARCH?? I havent knew about it until I reach there...
Army of British and India as well as Australia were being captured and prisoned in Sandakan. They marched until Ranau in order to free themselves.... Here's the park that list out those soldiers in memorial to them....

A nice park with nice scenary and nice feel~~~
Nice place to take cute photos~~

3rd Station: Kinabalu National Park
Erm, dun misunderstand, we are not going to hike up mount Kinabalu (I am not that good in stamina yet...) However, we walked around here and there to have a look around there~~~
Normal walk: RM 3~~~
Pondok Timpohon - place before hike up Mount Kinabalu.

Nice waterfall~~~

4th Station: Tamparuli Bridge
FOC~~~
On our way going back to KK, we  pass by this special suspension bridge, Jambatan Tamparuli~~~
Tamparuli Bridge

Tada~~~
Do you know why it is built??? There is a river underneath it, and the road was built across the river. Whenever the water level goes up, cars and motorcycles cant pass thru, thus this bridge was built in order to allow them to walk across the river~~~
(some of them already KO in the van... sleeping soundly~~~ lol)

5th Station: Mari-mari Cultural Village
Admission Fee: Forgotten, however price from internet source -- RM 150 per pax.
Alright, this is a trip with a  handsome guide - Howard that lead us throughout the place...
Informative as well as interesting performance by the locals there~~ <3 <3

We went for the dinner session, so we had nice food there.. not bad~~
Raining~~ but the rain stopped when we start our tour~~
Playing around with the traditional trampoline using bamboo~~~
Nice tattoo right? FOC~~

And our day 3 ended like this... Tired~~ yet enjoyed~~~ ^^

Sabah Trip -- Day 2

Here comes day 2~~~

After fooling around in UMS, we woke up early the next day, departing to see the most spectacular view of Sabah -- Mount Kinabalu... The place is KUNDASANG, where the weather there is cool and nice~~

On the way, we pass through many mountain roads, and I'm proud to say that none of us vomit when going there!! YEAH!!

1st Station:

Before reaching kundasang, we stopped at Nabalu Market.... a nice place to shop for souvenir and fruits, but you may find the stalls selling cheaper when you go to the next stall. a better suggestion is that all of your friends survey the whole place, and buy at the same stall to ask for cheaper pricing~~~ ^^
There is a huge pineapple at Nabalu market and some called it Pineapple town...

2nd Station:
Next, we reach our homestay place at Kundasang -- Zoraini Homestay
Room rate: RM 100 for 6 pax room + 1 tilam for 1 night... affordable price
Speciality: Mount Kinabalu view behind the homestay~
a nice view from the homestay:

3rd Station: Sabah Tea Garden
Admission Fees: Nil
after put down our luggage,we went to Sabah Tea Garden. actually there is nothing special if you reached there late..... the guided trip is before 12pm, so we jz bought some tea and specialities there...

4th Station: Fish Spa
Admission Fees: RM5 per person, RM 3 for each camera.
After visiting Tea garden,  there is a so called fish spa available there. so we went there and we had FUN...
although it's kinda hurts when some of the fish bite your feet, but it is still cute when you try to feed the fish~~

5th Station: Poring Hot Spring
Admission Fee: RM3 for hot spring, RM 4 for canopy walk
Next stop is Poring Hot Spring! my 1st hot spring experience~~~
the hot spring is HOT but the area is cool, therefore you will have hot and cold feeling both there~~

Before soaking in the egg-smell water, we went for canopy walk, which juz supported by 2 rainforest tree... and it is just a normal wood board width.... damn scary but we still manage to finish it!! so fun!!

6th Station: Napalus Rafflesia Garden
Admission Fees: RM 20 per pax (expensive rite? but the owner is cute)
after all these, we are so lucky that there are rafflesia flowers available~~~

And so, we ended our trip with FOODS for day 2~~~

Sabah Trip -- Day 1

The 1st day of my trip... woke up early in da morning... preparing myself... hahaha
worrying that will my luggage overweight, and depart to PG International Airport....

Check in process is easy by using online check in before going to airport, just have to drop baggage and everything is done.... 3 hours flight... what i did?? browsing thru the airline catalogue... hahaha..

took some pictures before landing... (p/s i took before the safety belt light is on, :P followed the rules)
some turbulence happened..... but still reached sabah safely~~~

Due to I have my flight by my own self from Penang, my frens are waiting me @ KKIA terminal 2~~
see how funny they are~~
p/s: they curi the paper from our driver to welcome me.. wahahahha

After reaching KKIA, terus go to hotel wait for check in... Tune hotel has a strict check in time, so better reach there on 2pm onwards... after tidying up some things, our trip starts~~ yuu huu~~ excited!!

1st Station: UMS

Since UMS is just 3-5 minutes from Tune Hotel, we decided to walk from near first as all of us are kinda tired after flight... Our main purpose is to go to the Aquarium and Museum, but we went to other places in UMS as well...

UMS: Entrance fee: FOC
UMS Aquarium and Museum: Entrance fee, RM 3 for student with student card, RM 5 for normal person. Camera Fee: RM 5 (Price stated is as for Malaysian)
Since we speak fluent Malay and it was sem break that time, kakak jz let us use camera as we like.. wahahahaha....

okay, talk about inside of the aquarium. Actually there is not much things to watch as most of the aquarium are empty and the place is quite small. you can finish walk the whole place at around 15 minutes-20 minutes. after that, we walked down the way to seaside and took picture!!! hahaha, nice view though~~

Next we go round the campus of UMS, pink mosque, great seaview from Canselori Hall, and last but not least, we've took some prove that UPM students conquered UMS!! hahahaha....

2nd Station: Town Trip -- Atkinson Clock Tower + Signal Hill Observatory Tower

Our 2nd stop is at town area, which are atkinson clock tower and signal hill... both place are free of charge, and it's more to photo shooting session... The clock tower is built by

3rd Station: UPPERSTAR @ Waterfront KK

After hungry for whole day (din had any meal at all >.<), we ate at UPPERSTAR cafe... a nice cafe and the food is nice and affordable price!! we had our very 1st cocktail there -- Long Island Ice Tea which is very strong!! most of them are DRUNK.. lolx.. we were there kinda early so we didn't met lots of ppl there.. but as we know, that place is really popular for food and people who wants to have some drink after work.

And this has come to the end of our day 1~~~~ not much to fool around, but sweat a lot while moving around in UMS....

Sabah Trip -- Introduction

WHY Sabah??
I also have no idea... hahaha.. Just following Ms PW Lee and Ms JY Ho's planning....
After rushing booking for air tickets and hotels, there come boring waiting time ---- 1 YEAR...
Since we booked the flight ticket and hotel room earlier, we managed to get a cheaper price.. ngek ngek ngek~~

My Flight:
Air Asia PEN <<-->>KKIA with 15kg luggage, insurance blah blah = RM 269.00
Air Asia KKIA<<-->>SDK with 15kg luggage, insurance blah blah = RM 68.00
Tune Hotel 5 nights stay = RM 103.74

=.=||| spent RM441 one year ahead of my trip... >.<

Few weeks before our trip, we start to find transportation...
at first we thought of driving ourselves... surf through internet and found this:
http://www.bimaztours.com/
They offered me a good price of transportation, and even offered me driver service... It's better to have a driver there so u can spend all your precious energy playing around.. hahahahaha
A big thanks to Ms Hani and En Awang for planning trips for us.. and to me, i feel the price is reasonable...

Fetching us twice from airport to 1 Borneo, to kundasang, to any place we want, for 6 continuous day only costs  us RM 1450... cheap right?? (dont disappoint me pls~~~ hahaha)

Another driver at Sandakan is also reasonable, RM 1000 for 3 days at Sandakan, including 2 hours trip to Gua Gomantong and town trip (we've asked another which costs us RM700 for only town trip >.< Dracula man!!)

Sabah is really nice and fun, it is a must go place in Malaysia other than Penang, my hometown~~ hahahaha ^^
